How TPMS Works in UAE Vehicles
TPMS sensors are battery-powered wireless units fitted inside each tyre on the wheel rim. UAE summer temperatures cause tyre pressure to increase from morning to afternoon. A tyre correctly inflated at AED 32 psi in the early morning may read 36-38 psi after driving in UAE summer conditions. This is normal. The TPMS warning threshold is set for pressure loss, not pressure gain.
