1. Acceptance
By accessing or using garagebuddyuae.com (“the Platform”) you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates.
2. About GarageBuddy UAE
GarageBuddy UAE is an online marketplace and information platform. We list automotive service providers (“Workshops”) and enable vehicle owners (“Users”) to discover, compare, and contact them. We are not a party to any agreement between Users and Workshops and do not provide automotive services ourselves.
3. Marketplace; Limitation of Liability
Workshop listings on the Platform may be sourced from public data (e.g. Google Places) and user submissions. GarageBuddy UAE does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or currency of any listing information, including prices, opening hours, or service descriptions. We are not responsible for the quality, safety, legality, or outcome of any service provided by a Workshop. Any dispute between a User and a Workshop must be resolved directly between those parties.
4. AI Diagnosis Tool
The AI-powered diagnosis feature provides general informational suggestions only. It is not a substitute for professional mechanical inspection or advice. GarageBuddy UAE accepts no liability for decisions made based on AI-generated output. Always have your vehicle inspected by a qualified mechanic before undertaking repairs.
5. User Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity under your account. You must provide accurate information and must not impersonate any person or entity. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
6. Prohibited Uses
You must not: scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Platform; submit false, misleading, or defamatory content; attempt to circumvent any security measure; use the Platform for any unlawful purpose under UAE law; or interfere with the Platform’s operation.
7. Intellectual Property
All content on the Platform (excluding user-submitted content and third-party data) is the property of GarageBuddy UAE and protected by UAE copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written consent.
8. Third-Party Links and Services
The Platform may contain links to third-party websites or integrate third-party services (including Google Maps and Google AdSense). We are not responsible for the content or practices of any third party.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Platform is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by UAE law, GarageBuddy UAE’s total liability to you for any claim arising out of or related to the Platform shall not exceed AED 500. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or punitive damages.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless GarageBuddy UAE and its officers, employees, and agents from any claims, losses, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Dubai, UAE.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
