Best Parking Apps in UAE 2026: Dubai, Abu Dhabi & Sharjah Guide

2 Jul 2026 3 min read

Finding parking in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah can be stressful — especially in busy areas like Downtown Dubai, Deira, and Corniche in Abu Dhabi. The good news: the UAE has some of the most advanced parking technology in the world, with multiple apps and systems making it easier. This guide covers the best parking apps in UAE for 2026 and how to use them.

Dubai Parking Apps

Dubai Now App

The Dubai Now super-app consolidates most government and parking services. For parking, it allows you to pay for RTA-operated parking spaces, extend time remotely, and view your parking history. Available on iOS and Android. Integrating your Emirates ID makes transactions faster.

RTA Dubai App

The official Roads and Transport Authority Dubai app includes parking payment for on-street Dubai Municipal parking. Features: pay, extend, and receive SMS reminders before expiry. Also useful for Salik top-up and bus/metro journey planning.

Parkin App

Parkin is Dubai’s dedicated parking management company, operating over 180,000 parking spaces in Dubai. The Parkin app allows cashless payment at on-street, multi-storey, and smart parking facilities. Features include parking space discovery (available/occupied status), pre-booking at selected locations, and monthly pass management. It’s the most comprehensive Dubai-specific parking app.

Mawgif Dubai (RTA)

RTA’s Mawgif system covers on-street paid parking zones across Dubai. Payment via SMS (sending your plate number to a short code), phone call, or through the RTA or Dubai Now apps. Rates: AED 2–4 per hour depending on zone.

Abu Dhabi Parking Apps

IPI (Integrated Abu Dhabi Parking) / Abu Dhabi Parking App

Abu Dhabi’s centralised parking system is managed by Integrated Transport Centre (ITC). The Abu Dhabi Parking app (available on iOS and Android) covers on-street and multi-storey paid parking across Abu Dhabi. Pay, extend, and find nearby availability through the app. Rates: AED 1–3 per hour depending on zone.

TAMM Abu Dhabi App

Abu Dhabi’s government super-app includes vehicle and parking services, though the dedicated parking app is preferred for day-to-day parking payment.

Sharjah Parking

Sharjah uses a mix of paid and free parking. The Sharjah Parking app (by Sharjah Roads and Transport Authority, SRTA) covers paid zones in Sharjah city centre. SMS payment is also available. Many residential areas in Sharjah have free parking, unlike Dubai where paid zones are extensive.

Private Parking Apps (UAE-wide)

ParkEasy

A UAE-founded app that aggregates available parking spaces from malls, hotels, and private operators across Dubai and Abu Dhabi. Useful for finding and pre-booking parking near popular destinations.

Valet Services via Apps

Several Dubai restaurants, hotels, and event venues offer app-based valet via Valetly and similar platforms. You can request your car remotely and track the valet’s progress.

Understanding Dubai Parking Zones

Dubai’s paid parking zones are colour-coded and displayed on street signs:

  • Gold: AED 4/hour — high-demand areas (Downtown, DIFC, Marina Walk)
  • Silver: AED 3/hour — medium demand areas
  • Bronze: AED 2/hour — lower demand areas
  • Green: Free for residents with permit; paid for visitors

Parking inspectors in Dubai issue AED 200 fines for unpaid parking. A second violation on the same day results in a higher fine. Pay before the grace period ends (typically 5–10 minutes after parking).

Parking Near UAE Garages

When visiting a garage for car service, most workshops in areas like Al Quoz (Dubai) and Mussafah (Abu Dhabi) have on-site parking. Street parking in these industrial zones is generally free. If you’re dropping your car for service and need to arrange a lift, most GarageBuddy-listed garages offer a free drop-off/collection service for longer-duration jobs. Find garages near you at GarageBuddy.
