How a Car AC System Works
A car AC system consists of five main components working together to cool the cabin air. The compressor pressurises and circulates refrigerant around the system. The evaporator (located inside the dashboard) absorbs heat from the cabin air, cooling it before it is blown through the vents. The refrigerant then returns to the compressor, completing the cycle. - Refrigerant leak: The most common AC fault in UAE vehicles. - AC compressor failure: The compressor is the most expensive single AC component.
