UAE Child Car Seat Legal Requirements
UAE Federal Traffic Law requires all children under 4 years of age to be secured in an approved child safety seat in the rear of the vehicle. Children below 10 years of age are not permitted in the front passenger seat in most UAE emirates. Damaged or expired seats, and seats that were involved in a previous collision, should not be used.
